Title - Organizational Effectiveness Manager
- Lead and maintain Executive Performance Management process and tools, including project planning, execution of performance management processes throughout the year, ongoing process improvement and effective integration of current/future systems.
- Lead overall framework and delivery of succession planning and talent management, including talent review, human capital metrics, talent development strategies and partnership in integrating Human Capital systems.
- Provides performance improvement solutions including performance measurement and feedback systems, change management, performance systems analysis, strategic planning, teaming, and process improvement
- Support ongoing development of Leadership and Professional Development Curriculum (including on boarding, mentoring, action/skill building learning tools, etc.).
- Establishes partnerships with other professionals across Sears Holdings Corporation, middle and senior management, and business units to ensure business impacts are defined and understood.
- Consults with key leaders to address performance, organizational behavior, and leadership needs.
- Measures and analyzes effectiveness of OD interventions and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Consult, manage, educate and coach on effective use and implementation of 360-degree feedback programs.
- Serve as liaison with vendors, industry affiliations, professional organizations and other OE, Organization/Leadership Development professionals to build potential talent pipeline.
- Establish and monitor a budget within the OE function; achieve financial objectives and plan/measure ROI on OE services. Keeps abreast of best practices and monitors trends and innovations to help direct the OE function.
Education/Training/Experience - Minimum - BA/BS degree in an organizational behavior management (OBM), organizational development (OD), industrial/organizational psychology, or performance improvement-related discipline plus 5-7 yrs experience. Preferred - Masters degree with 10 yrs experience in OBM,OD, or I/O area. Fluency in oral and written English required.
Experience - The ideal candidate possesses experience and a successful track record in:
- Consulting with leadership at multiple levels in an organization
- Conducting performance analyses across broad populations and locations
- Developing and implementing large-scale behavioral and cultural change interventions and other OBM initiatives
- Measurement systems
- Developing and implementing Executive level performance management processes and tools 3
- 60 degree feedback - PDI Profilor Certified
- Executive coaching
- Building leadership talent to encourage future growth Improving organizational performance
- Thinking strategically and executing tactical initiatives to support strategic imperatives
