Welcome to CIOP online
We are an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the I-O profession in the greater Chicagoland area.
That covers a large and diverse group of people, but our goal is to be inclusive of everyone, from new students just starting out at one of the many local I-O programs to grizzled veterans who still remember rotating factors by hand. It doesn't matter whether you're in the city or a far off suburb, academic or practitioner, internal or external, job seeker or hiring manager, PhD or Masters, executive or individual contributor, or whatever else, CIOP is for you!
The new Executive Board members and Student Representatives are just getting started on planning activities, but we would love to hear from you. Please visit the Contact Us page and share any ideas about future activities and/or other ways that we can better serve the local I-O community, particularly if you want to get involved somehow. If you don't have any ideas now, but just want to say hello and introduce yourself, we're open to that also. There are a lot of us, but Chicago I-O is still a small world.
